About us

Vegan Future is a Southampton based voluntary organisation which seeks to promote the ethical, environmental and health benefits of the vegan diet. We do this by running a food buying co-operative and through active campaigning. We operate entirely co-operatively, relying on the voluntary work of our members to keep us going.

Our food buying co-operative offers a way to purchase low-cost, vegan/organic wholefoods and household products directly from a supplier, which cuts out the middle man (i.e. the large chains and corporations), and reduces the mileage of your food.

Our campaigning activities mainly involve attending community fairs and holding street stalls. Through these we offer information and free vegan food samples to members of the public. Other activities include putting up library displays, giving talks to community groups and organising transport to protest marches.
